My heart shakes.
My eyes drip.
My lip trembles.
I can't believe it!
I was feeding Katie in our living room. Katie was in her highchair and she was eating some oatmeal and blended peaches. Jack was continuously whining and then crying about: seat belt, school day, Evie school day, seat belt, no school bus, no seat belt, no wheelchair, no buckle wheelchair. He doesn't understand why he doesn't take Evie to school every day. He doesn't understand why the bus doesn't pick him up for school every day. He was at my feet, pulling on my pant leg. He licked me. He bit me. He cried. He whined.
Then...
As I am still ignoring Jack...
I notice that he's standing up against my leg, holding on for dear life. No socks. No braces. No shoes.
JACK PULLED HIMSELF UP TO A STAND ALL BY HIMSELF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It took me a minute to realize what just happened. I picked him up after I checked the positioning of his legs and feet; both straight!
Isn't it funny how I can compare this excitement to an infant pulling up for the first time...and Jack is 4!
Way to go buddy! He always has the most strength when he's mad!
